Cordatec was founded in 1999, by Patrick Rosa and Dr. Arno Nierich. Dr. Nierich had an idea to develop the A-View catheter and was looking for a partner that could develop, produce and commercialize his balloon catheter. Then he met Patrick Rosa, CEO of Andocor and Romed, two companies that produce and distribute medical disposables. So? Cordatec was born.

The idea was to become a "one-stop" company for "inventors", where they can leave their idea in the good care of a specialized team, which will develop the medical device and further guide the finalized product through manufacturing, clinical evaluation and commercialization. At the moment, the A-View catheter is in the final development stage and several other innovative products are in our hands.
